Why Don't You Make the Twins Your "Girlfriend" Together? Volume 1 Chapter 7
Chapter 7
Both Twins at Once…?
Twenty minutes after his first kiss, Sakuto found himself seated in a booth at a place called ‘Western-Style Dining Kanon.’
He’d been here a few times with his aunt, Mitsumi, since it opened about three years ago. The owner, a former film industry professional, had decorated the interior with stylish lights and accessories that were supposedly authentic movie props, lending the establishment a wonderfully unique atmosphere.
The food and desserts were just as famous as the decor, ensuring a steady stream of repeat customers. Even on a weekday, the place was nearly full.
And in a corner of this charming little restaurant──the color had completely drained from Sakuto’s face.
The older of the twins──Hikari──seemed relatively cheerful, a beaming smile gracing her lips. Her younger sister, Chikage, on the other hand, was practically radiating fury. Every time their eyes met, she shot him a glare so sharp he did his best to avoid looking her way entirely.
“Alright, then, let’s start over,” Hikari chirped. “I’m Usami Hikari. Your turn, Chii-chan.”
“Usami. Chikage.” She ground out, each word a struggle. “It’s… n-i-c-e… to… meet… you.”
“Ugh… I’m Takayashiki Sakuto… Really, I don’t even know what to say… To both of you, I’m so, so sorry for the misunderstanding…”
As Sakuto bowed his head deeply, Hikari just laughed. “Now, now,” she said, urging him to look up. “It’s okay. I knew from the start you had us mixed up, Takayashiki-kun.”
“Huh? Then why didn’t you say anything?”
“It was an experiment! I wanted to see if you’d notice,” she explained. “You know, like one of those ‘twins switching places’ pranks on YouTube.”
“Ah…” Sakuto mumbled, picturing the videos.
Hikari giggled like a child caught in the middle of a perfect prank. Unfortunately for Sakuto, this had spiraled far beyond the scope of a simple prank.
“Sooo, how’d a kiss from Hii-chan taste…?”
“Please stop…!” Sakuto clapped his hands over his ears, a desperate attempt to escape reality.
Chikage let out a long, frustrated sigh. “Haaaah~. Hii-chan, you too! Pretending to be me!”
“Nahahaha, I was just wondering when you’d finally catch on… but──” Hikari’s laughter died in her throat when she saw the genuine anger on her sister’s face. She seemed to realize, a second too late, that this wasn’t a laughing matter. No, this really wasn’t funny at all. Though the one finding it least amusing was, without a doubt, Sakuto.
“Haaaah~… If it was just a prank, that means you don’t actually like Takayashiki-kun, right?” Chikage asked, a sliver of hope in her voice.
“Nope, I like him,” Hikari declared without a hint of hesitation.
““Eeeh!?””
The exclamation came from Sakuto and Chikage in perfect unison.
“Huh? But I’ve liked him from the very beginning,” Hikari continued, tilting her head. “Love at first sight, I guess?”
“Th-That’s just a momentary lapse of reason! Snap out of it, Hii-chan!”
“Eh~? But I already confirmed it by, you know, touching him a lot. And I thought, ‘Ah, I really do like this person after all…’ So I was about to reveal the prank, but then he suddenly held me tight… and kissed me… Ehehehe~” Hikari pressed her hands to her cheeks, lost in the happy memory.
In stark contrast, every time the words “touching him,” “held me tight,” and “kissed me” left her sister’s lips, Chikage’s gaze snapped back to Sakuto. It was a wide-eyed, deadpan stare that seemed to say, Oh~ is that so~? Oh~, really? It was terrifying.
Sakuto groaned again, trying to organize the chaotic facts in his head.
The one who first confessed to him was the younger sister, Chikage. The one he’d steeled his resolve to kiss was the older sister, Hikari. He had progressed from a confession to a kiss, but the participants had been swapped midway.
I see. This makes no sense…
It was entirely his fault for not noticing, but this was a disaster too grave to be dismissed as a simple joke. He briefly wondered if there was a YouTube tutorial for how to navigate a situation like this.
“So, about what happens now… what do you want to do, Takayashiki-kun?” Hikari asked, her eyes sparkling. “Since the person you kissed was me, you’ll go out with me, right?”
“Wait a minute!” Chikage interjected, unable to hold back. “I was the one who confessed first! I should have the right to date him!”
“A r-right, you say?” Sakuto squeaked.
“B-But… Takayashiki-kun, the only reason you even tried to confess to Hii-chan was because you thought she was me, right!?” Chikage pressed on, her voice rising. “The confession, the hug, and the kiss were all meant for me!”
“But at the arcade, you said I was cute… and you told me you liked me, y’know?” Hikari countered playfully.
Chikage’s eyes shot wide open, her terrifying gaze once again locking onto Sakuto. So, so scary.
“Ah—no, no… It’s true I said your smile was cute, but when I said I like you, I meant I like people who give their all to everything…” Sakuto stammered, trying to explain.
While he was fumbling for words, Hikari was snickering. It seemed she had deliberately twisted his words to her advantage.
“Besides, a lot has already happened… we’ve sort of… sealed the deal, haven’t we?” Hikari added with a wink.
“Y-You haven’t let him have your body, have you!?” Chikage shrieked.
Hikari feigned confusion. “Huh? I’m pretty sure I told you to touch me earlier…?”
“Eh? …No way!? Then… you’ve already…!? Awawawa…!?”
“Juuust kidding,” Hikari chirped. “We haven’t done anything like that... Yet.”
“Hey, Hii-chan!? What are you making me say—!”
“You’re the one who started having naughty thoughts all on your own, Chii-chan,” Hikari teased with a laugh.
Watching Chikage flush red with anger while her sister giggled, Sakuto let out another internal groan.
What am I being made to listen to? No, what am I supposed to do about this? The answer isn’t just a web search away. My head is really starting to get jumbled now.
“So, which one of us will you date, Takayashiki-kun?” Hikari purred, pushing her cleavage together and looking up at him with a mischievous gaze. “If it’s me… Ehehehe ♪”
“I-I’ll also do my best… five times more than usual…!” Chikage declared, her face beet red.
“F-five times… more? What does that even mean…?”
“S-So, um… I’d be happy if you did as you please, Takayashiki-kun…!” Chikage blurted out, her blush deepening.
Sakuto timidly glanced around the restaurant. Patrons of all ages were now casting various looks in their direction. Eyes of jealousy, eyes of hatred, eyes that seemed to scream, “You beast!”──a mixture of negative auras swirled around them, creating a gloomy and oppressive atmosphere.
“Y-You two… you’re bothering the other customers. Let’s just stop this…”
“Then decide.”
“Yes, please decide!”
This was it. He was done for. There was only one thing he could do.
“Um, I know this might sound crazy, but…”
The twins tilted their heads in unison, confused.
“I like both of you.”
Sakuto confessed to them both at once. Naturally, the two of them──
““Eeeeeeeh──────!?””
He knew that would be their reaction, but it was the truth. It was the only conclusion he could reach, so it couldn’t be helped. Maintaining his composure as best he could, Sakuto decided to explain his feelings to each of them.
“First, Chikage-san… I heard you’ve liked me since middle school, but the truth is, I’ve been aware of you for a while now, too.”
“Eh!? R-Really…!?”
Sakuto nodded, a hint of embarrassment on his face. “We were at the same cram school, and I always saw how serious and hardworking you were. I wanted to be friends with you from the start. It was something close to admiration… I really respect you. Also, I think you’re beautiful, and I think you’re cute—”
“Um, hold on, Takayashiki-kun, stop, my heart…!”
“—And after actually talking with you, I realized you’re a really interesting person, and I wanted to get to know you better. I was so happy when you confessed.”
“I-I’m happy, too…! To think you thought of me that way…” Chikage blushed so hard it looked like steam might burst from her head as she looked down at the table.
“As for Hikari-san—”
“Ah, you can just call me Hikari.”
“Ah, okay. Then, Hikari. With you, it’s not just that you’re fun to be with, but you’re also… deep. I feel like you’re someone who really understands my feelings. It’s only been a short time, but every moment has been so memorable.”
Hikari listened with a beaming smile, nodding along enthusiastically.
“That’s why, after talking with you, Hikari, I found parts of you I was really drawn to. You give me energy, and you changed me. You seem so free-spirited, but you’re actually serious, and I get the feeling you think about a lot of things. That’s why I wanted to get to know you better, too.”
“Ehehehe~, I’m so happy… I’m glad the person I fell for was you, Takayashiki-kun. Besides, your kiss was wonderful…”
Sakuto looked between the two of them and said once more, “So, the fact that I’ve fallen for both of you doesn’t change. On top of that—and this is the most important part—the reason I like you isn’t because you’re a set of twins. It’s because you are Chikage-san, and you are Hikari.”
The twins looked at each other in silence for a long moment, then turned their gazes back to Sakuto.
“But, well… we still have to decide what to do now, don’t we?” Chikage murmured.
“Right, right. It can’t be helped that he fell for two people, so…” Hikari agreed.
Sakuto nodded seriously as their expectant eyes remained fixed on him. At this point, there was only one path for him to take.
“That’s why I… won’t go out with either of you! I’m sorry!”
““Eeeeeeeeh──────!?””
Seeing Sakuto bow his head in a perfect, formal apology, the twins could only stare in astonishment.
“Eh? Did I… say something wrong…?” he asked tentatively.
“Why would it turn out like that!? You like us, don’t you!?”
“That’s right! Your use of ‘that’s why’ makes no sense! You should at least choose one of us!”
“Even if you say that…” Sakuto scratched the back of his neck, looking troubled. “This is the conclusion I came to after thinking about both of your feelings…”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, let’s say I did choose one of you. What would happen to the other’s feelings?”
“No way,” Hikari said.
“Impossible,” Chikage echoed.
The twins glared daggers at each other.
“S-See? This is what I mean…”
““Ah…””
“The one who isn’t chosen would be hurt, right? If you were complete strangers, it might be one thing, but you’re twins. You’re family. Wouldn’t that make it hard to live together?”
The two of them seemed to understand his point, looking down awkwardly.
“In that case,” Sakuto continued, “I thought maybe it’d be okay for us to just be friends, even if we can’t be lovers.”
Thinking about it calmly, it was a logical compromise. Of course, there would be some lingering resentment, but Sakuto believed that time would eventually solve that.
“But, I already confessed…” Chikage mumbled.
“And I already kissed him…” Hikari added softly.
“Yeah, wait a minute… huh? Come to think of it, I haven’t been kissed yet!?” Chikage suddenly realized, her head snapping up.
“Ah… and I guess I haven’t properly confessed yet, either…” Hikari mused.
The situation was growing ominous again as the conversation looped back to where it started. Sensing the dangerous shift in the atmosphere, Sakuto instinctively pulled back.
“The kiss was supposed to be mine first! I confessed! And besides, I’ve liked him since middle school!” Chikage argued passionately.
“Hmm~? But, I’m the older sister, you know?” Hikari teased.
“That’s not the point! And it’s only by fifteen minutes!”
“And, he held me so tight at the station… hehe, I can’t help but grin when I remember it…”
“Mgggaaaaaah—!”
As the two sisters descended into a squabble, Sakuto held his head in his hands.
Good grief…
At the same time, he came to the firm conclusion that this was exactly why he could never choose just one of them.
“Gimme those lips!” Chikage lunged.
“Wh-what are you going to do…!?”
“If I kiss you, Hii-chan, it’ll be an indirect kiss with Takayashiki-kun, right!?”
“No it won’t! What kind of logic is that!? W-wah, stop it! Don’t you dare overwrite my memory of it—!”
Shouldn’t she just ask the person right in front of her directly? The thought crossed Sakuto’s mind for a fleeting moment, but that would be against his principles. It would be a scummy thing to even consider. Not that this situation wasn’t already the absolute worst.
He let out another mental “good grief,” but just then──
“I’ve got it! Then let’s do this! Takayashiki-kun—”
Hikari, as if struck by a brilliant idea, turned to face him. It might have just been an excuse to escape Chikage’s kiss, but he figured he might as well hear her out.
“Why not make us both your girlfriends?”
I see, so there was that option—
Is not at all what I thought.
At the suggestion, Sakuto and Chikage were rendered speechless. Hikari, however, simply bowed politely.
“And so, thank you for ultimately choosing both of us. Please take good care of me and Chii-chan from now on, okay?”
“Yeah, let’s wait a minute, Hikari…” Sakuto held up a hand to stop her. “It’s still a little early to call it ‘ultimate’…”
“We’re already a couple, so I’ll call you Sakuto-kun too, darling?”
“Ah, yeah… wait, why did you add darling at the end? And besides, Chikage would hate that, right? —Right?”
When Sakuto sought her agreement, Chikage was groaning “Uuuugh,” as if wrestling with some great internal conflict.
“I also… feel… well, if it were any other girl it would be an absolute no, but since it’s Hii-chan… because it’s Hii-chan~… Uuuugh… I’d say it’s a ‘maybe’ leaning towards ‘yes’…”
“No, it’s a ‘no’ leaning towards ‘no’! You can’t compromise there just because she’s your sister! Don’t hesitate! You’re not that kind of girl!”
“Y-You’re right… If you say so, darling…”
“You said ‘darling’!?”
It was utter chaos. It seems even Chikage was now willing to entertain the idea of dating as a trio. Or rather, neither of them was willing to back down. What was he supposed to do? More importantly, was Chikage okay? He hoped she hadn’t completely broken from the sheer insanity of the situation.
“Hold on, stop, this is going way too fast, I can’t keep up… Can you just let me sort this out for a second?”
Sakuto’s brain went into overdrive, spinning furiously in the opposite direction of its normal function.
Right, this makes no sense—no, I’m not supposed to get it. Not logically, anyway.
“H-Hikari’s suggestion is an extremely attractive one… However, I think it’s wrong from a common-sense standpoint… Don’t you think so too, Chikage-san?”
“Please call me ‘honey’.”
“Yeah, not happening. …Are you okay, Chikage-san?” He checked on her, worried she might actually be cracking under the pressure. Suddenly, she seemed to return to her calm, collected self.
“But… it means Takayashiki-kun will have two girlfriends, and we’ll have the same boyfriend, right? That’s still bad from a common-sense standpoint, doesn’t it…?”
“That’s right! Attagirl, Chikage-san!” Sakuto clenched his fist in triumph.
“I don’t think bringing up common sense in this not-so-common situation makes much sense, though~?” Hikari hummed.
“No, no, no! What are you talking about, Hikari! Don’t confuse Chikage-san!”
“Eh~?”
“Don’t ‘eh~?’ me! Adding unconventional to unconventional only results in more unconventional!”
“Hmm~? Then maybe we should try multiplying them? Or perhaps~… squaring them?”
“How!? Teach me that formula!”
He absolutely, positively could not let this line be crossed.
“Are you worried about what other people will think, Chii-chan?” Hikari asked gently. “Can you really give up on Sakuto-kun just because of that?”
“Of course I can’t give up…! I don’t want that!”
Hikari smiled brightly. “Then, let’s take a democratic vote, shall we?”
“What did you say…?”
“All in favor of the three of us dating. Aaaaye.” Hikari raised her hand. After a moment’s hesitation, Chikage slowly raised hers as well.
Two to one—it passed.
No, no, no, no, he couldn’t let himself be so cleverly talked into this. If the unreasonable is allowed to pass, then reason itself must yield. He had to continue to oppose this, even if he was the only one left.
“Th-This is tyranny of the majority!”
“It’s democracy, you know?”
“The opinion of the minority should be respected! In this case, me!”
“Personally, I’d be happy if you’d just agree so we can all have a fun, bright future together.”
“What about my free will!?”
Then Hikari, with a rapturous expression, slowly traced her own lips with her pinky finger. “Sakuto-kun’s kiss was so wonderful… I wanna do it again…”
“Ugh!?”
“You want to as well, right, Chii-chan?”
“Y-Yeah… I… I want to… and I want you to hold me tight…”
“Guh────────!?”
With that, Sakuto’s will completely wavered.
Man, I’m weak.“N-No, but, from a common-sense perspective, if you just think about it…”
“It’ll be fine as long as no one finds out, right?” Hikari said with a shrug.
“No, that’s not the issue either… though that is likely to become an issue. From my perspective, I’d be dating two people at once. You’d hate it if there was a difference in how I treat you, wouldn’t you…?”
“What? If that’s all, it’s simple.” Hikari raised her index finger smartly. “All you have to do is love us both equally, Sakuto-kun.”
“Am I a god!? Only a god can love people equally!”
“Hmm… You mean like, ‘god-tier service’?”
“Not at all! That’s even worse than ‘salty service’!”
Sakuto’s brain was in overdrive, but Hikari’s was always two steps ahead. He had to stop this somehow. The back-and-forth continued for a while longer, but finally, Hikari made a troubled face.
“Hmm… I think it’s a nice idea, personally…”
“Well… it’s true that it’s unfaithful, just like Takayashiki-kun says…” At last, Chikage seemed to have returned to her usual self.
With things back to square one, Sakuto felt a wave of relief wash over him.
“But isn’t it fine as long as you’re faithful to the two of us?” Hikari suddenly added. “Of course, I don’t think there’d be a problem if we’re also faithful in return, but?”
“The problem isn’t us, it’s the situation!” Chikage countered, her conviction returning. “People around us will think it’s weird, that it’s strange, right?”
“…Like something out of an Inagawa Junji story?”
“No, I didn’t say it like that, did I? But even Junji-san would probably be horrified…”
“Hmm… so what you have a problem with, Chii-chan, isn’t our relationship, but how people around us see it?”
“Eh… well, something like that.”
Hearing that, Hikari seemed to have another idea. Judging by how things had gone so far, it was unlikely to be a good one, but Sakuto figured he had to hear her out.
“Hey, Chii-chan. Let’s say we all started dating Sakuto-kun… If someone asked you if you have a boyfriend, what would you say?”
“Eh? Um… I think I’d say I have one. I don’t want to lie…”
Then Hikari turned to Sakuto. “Hey, Sakuto-kun. Let’s say you started dating us, and someone asked if you have a girlfriend?”
“Um, I’d say I have one, but…”
“Do you think anyone would then ask, ‘how many girlfriends do you have’?”
Sakuto was taken aback. “No, they wouldn’t… From a common-sense standpoint, they wouldn’t ask for a number, huh…”
“Right,” Hikari said, pressing her advantage. “In other words, this is how it is. Normal people, like you said, Chii-chan, assume a one-on-one relationship is the norm, so they won’t ask for numbers. Even if the three of us were walking together happily, they wouldn’t assume we were all dating. They’d probably just think, ‘Oh, he’s good friends with those twins,’ don’t you think?”
I see, Sakuto thought, begrudgingly convinced. But—
“So you’re saying no one would find out? But, what if they ask me what she’s like? What would I say then?”
“That—you don’t say. In other words, you keep it a secret.”
“Eh? No, but that’s…” Had he not gotten his point across at all? Sakuto tried once again to explain the concepts of common sense and faithfulness.
However, Hikari simply looked at Sakuto’s and Chikage’s dumbfounded faces and smiled. “There are, broadly speaking, two types of lies,” she began. “A lie, and a lie by omission.”
“How are they different?” Chikage asked.
“A lie is an act that hurts someone. There are kind lies, too, but I guess it’s about affecting other people, people on the outside. For example, if you’re dating someone but tell everyone you don’t have a partner, that’s a lie. If they find out later, you’ll probably make them angry or sad, right?”
Sakuto and Chikage were immediately convinced of that.
“Hii-chan, what’s the other one, the lie by omission?”
“Simply put, it’s a secret. It’s not about the outside, but the inside… it’s something you carry yourself. In other words, it doesn’t really affect people on the outside.”
Just then, Sakuto interjected. “No, but, wouldn’t some people be hurt if you kept a secret from them?”
“That depends on the premise, doesn’t it? Is the secret a good thing, or a bad thing? We’re just three people who are dating. Is that something bad?”
“Bad… no, I guess it’s not bad…” Chikage conceded.
Hikari’s argument was more than just persuasive; it was airtight. If you keep a bad thing secret, you will inevitably cause trouble for others. However, if you keep a good thing—or something that is neither good nor bad—a secret, no one will be troubled. A man and a woman dating is not a bad thing. When multiple partners are involved, moral issues like “two-timing” or “cheating” arise. However, in the end, those are just labels that other people apply to the situation. If the parties involved are all in agreement, it’s not really anyone else’s business.
The secret is shared only among themselves. The only ones who might feel guilty are the ones keeping it, and to begin with, this didn’t even seem like something to feel guilty about.
Sakuto’s and Chikage’s claims of unfaithfulness had been thoroughly dismantled. Besides, there’s no law that says you have to announce to the world that you’re dating someone. If asked, it’s perfectly fine to say “it’s a secret” or “I’d rather not say.”
The important thing is the relationship between the people involved.
Even if they date as a trio, they must ensure they are faithful to each other. In other words, they must maintain a good balance. The concept of equality would be the most difficult part, but they would just have to strive to face each other honestly.
If so, from Sakuto’s position, it might be considered “two-timing,” but it wouldn’t fall under the category of “cheating.” And the term “two-timing” itself wouldn’t be a problem as long as these two agreed to it.
In other words—
“I see… so it’s all up to me, huh…” Sakuto gave a wry smile.
Good grief.
“That’s right,” Hikari confirmed. “Whether you can love me and Chii-chan equally, Sakuto-kun. Other than that, if you and Chii-chan can agree, I think this conversation can be concluded.”
Chikage, too, looked as if she had finally surrendered, thoroughly refuted.
“Chikage-san… you’re amazing in your own way, but your older sister is really something else, isn’t she?”
“Hii-chan is a genius, so… hmm? What do you mean by ‘in your own way’?”
“Ah, no, it’s nothing… But, are you really okay with this, Chikage-san? I’m going to be a terrible boyfriend, you know…”
Chikage nodded firmly. “If you’re terrible, then you just have to aim higher from now on. And I don’t think you’re terrible at all to begin with. If I can date you, Takayashiki-kun, I’ll feel like I’m on top of the world!”
Being told that so earnestly made him feel a little bashful. He glanced over at Hikari.
“V!” she chirped, making a happy V-sign with her fingers.
And so, the twin sisters once again posed the question to Sakuto.
“That’s how it is, so, Takayashiki-kun…”
“Will you love me and Chii-chan, both of us together?”
Sakuto let out a long, deep sigh. “I’m not confident… but I guess we can give it a try.”
And so, an agreement was reached between the three of them.
<The fact that the three of us are dating is a secret.>
That was the one and only rule that was decided.
* * *
By the time they left Western-Style Dining Kanon, it was completely dark. The three of them walked side-by-side towards the station, with Sakuto in the middle.
“I’m starving~…” Hikari whined, rubbing her stomach as she walked.
Chikage let out a small laugh. “Mom’s making dinner tonight.”
“Yup, I’ll hang in there till I get home~…”
As Sakuto watched Hikari with a wry smile, he felt a gentle tug on his other arm.
“Um, Takayashiki-kun…”
“What is it?”
“Please call me Chikage.”
“Ah, then… you can call me Sakuto.”
“Then, Sakuto-kun… —Sakuto-kun…” Chikage’s face suddenly turned red, and she let out a funny little laugh. “I never thought the three of us would end up dating… It’s different from what I imagined. But, I’m kind of looking forward to it.”
“I’m surprised too… ah, that’s right—” Sakuto reached into his pocket and took out Chikage’s ribbon. “Here, you dropped this. It fell in front of the arcade.”
“Ah… I’m so glad! This ribbon is very important to me! Thank you so much!” Chikage cried, holding the ribbon to her cheek as if it were a priceless treasure.
Just then, Hikari stepped in front of them. Still smiling, she wrapped her arms around them both in a big hug.
“I love both Sakuto-kun and Chii-chan!”
“What’s with you all of a sudden?” Sakuto asked.
“What’s wrong, Hii-chan?” Chikage added.
“No particular reason,” she said, squeezing them tighter. “Maybe it’s a hug of happiness?”
She hugged them innocently, an affectionate display you wouldn’t expect from the person who had just so logically argued for their polyamorous relationship.
“Ah, that’s right—” Hikari mumbled, before whispering something into both Sakuto’s and Chikage’s ears.
“No, that’s a little embarrassing…” Sakuto protested.
“D-Do we really have to say it?” Chikage stammered.
“Ehehehe, think of it as a declaration of our resolve,” Hikari giggled.
Embarrassed, Sakuto and Chikage looked at each other, but they both knew they couldn’t win against Hikari.
“W-We swear to the heavens…!” Sakuto began.
“We, though not born on the same day… wait? Aren’t Hii-chan and I born on the same…?”
“Just keep going!” Hikari urged.
“Ah, yeah… umm… so, the three of us, from now on, forever and ever…!”
“We wish to be happy and lovey-dovey! …Something like that?” Chikage finished lamely.
What did she just make us do on the side of the road—
It was unbearably embarrassing, but Sakuto supposed you could call it the “Oath of the Peach Garden” for the three of them.
They all looked up at the night sky.
If possible, just as those words said—they wished upon the thousands of stars peeking from between the buildings that the three of them could be together forever.
